Plymouth Play Association is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), founded in Plymouth over 20 years ago and is the lead play organization in the city. Our purpose is to promote play to people of all ages and to enable opportunities for play, in Plymouth. There are four main aspects to our work ‐ our art shop, the scrap store, our extensive resource library and our outreach work. We also sit on the Plymouth Play Strategy group and are currently the lead organization in the Plymouth Play Strategy project, delivering free play sessions throughout the city.We have 5 part time staff, a small pool of casual staff and depend on a large team of volunteers to keep our organization going. Our work is overseen by a management committee, who are also volunteers, and who meet once a month.
